Our Story – From Dairy to a Place for Connection
The Old Dairy in Skebokvarn has a long and eventful history – today, it’s a vibrant meeting place for paddlers and overnight guests. Here, Mikael and Carina Berger run a hostel, a canoe rental service, and a production of canoe accessories, as well as sales of kayaks and Canadian canoes. With deep roots in local history and a strong love for the outdoors, they’ve created a place where both tradition and adventure can thrive.
Kanuk of Sweden – Craftsmanship for paddlers since 1979
With roots in canoe sports and a passion for the water, we produce canoe equipment and sell kayaks and Canadian canoes for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Kanuk of Sweden AB was founded in 1979 by Christer Berger and is now run by Mikael Berger – world champion in canoeing – who continues to build on the family company’s legacy. All products are made in Skebokvarn and carefully developed with a focus on quality, durability, and the joy of paddling.
